There have been many "In praise of" threads in the past, but I cannot recall one for the people who started, contributed to, and continue the Bad Geometry wiki. So, let there be one!

Thanks, y'all!

Hmmm, there was this thread back in December... but, I agree, the Wiki people deserve lots of thanks for their work on this helpful scripting resource.

I discovered that it had resurfaced and hosted by linden labs about a month ago. How great! I'd like to see some more of us contributing though :P

Actually, I'm not sure I would. Glancing through the scripting forums, it seems no two people can agree on anything about any function or behavior of LSL, the whole thing comes down to conjecture and supposed experiment results that often dont bear out the evidence and shouting in bold type.

I kinda like that the content is mostly by people I actually trust to know what they're talking about. I'd hate to have to try and read between the lines and decide which bits were likely to be true and which bits were just ego :p

Yes, thank you bad geometry for all the horribly shaped prims and houses you have given us.

If you ask me, the wiki is false advertisement for there is almost no geometry on it, and the geometry that is, is rather good.
