Closing down.

That's right, it's with great regret that I have to scale down my SecondLife land greatly, and as such, Atelier des Reves, home of fashions by me is now closing down.

I can't say when it will be gone, but soon for sure.

Find Atelier des Reves (home of many many female and male fashions, and artwork by myself) in it's first and final resting place, Mocha (20, 220)

Maybe it will return one day, but for now, thanks for all the business!

Additionally, the Phobos Project 1$ store is also closing down. I will bring it back up in another location soon, it's been a great pleasure to provide that resource for the newcomers of Second Life.

Sorry to see it go I haven't gone to Atelier that much, but I do remember being so happy when I found the Phobos Project! Thanks so much for that. I can't wait to see it in its new location

I didn't say I was leaving SL, just tiering down.

And this has nothign to do with recent economical changes either, this is a personal RL issue.

There is medication available to treat people like you, maybe you should look into it. It would not cure your unbelieveable rudeness but it might cut down on some of the manic posts.

I know a surgical procedure to cure his rudeness.

I'm sure no one is interested in turning this thread into a "Shut up Alby" thing. Damien Fate has done a lot for the SL community and it's really kind of sad for me to see these stores that have been there since I started close down.

I'm sure you've been told countless times what a remarkable demonstration you and your group have given in the realm of virtual identities, but I'm willing to chime in one more time.

I hope things go well for you, whatever's going on. And I will miss your store; it was one of my favorite places in the game, even more so than the Avalon outlets.

BTW, I hope you and your RW organization have a huge portfolio of snapshots and a reasonably coherent chronology of your time here. I think that, if and when the Virtual Worlds concept gains a little more critical mass, there's definitely a textbook to be had what you've done.

I think Atelier des Reves is one of the most interesting shops in all SL. I'll have to add it to my list of "Things I should have visited more often that have went away".

I've always considered you one of SL's pioneers. I hope you'll have a chance to continue to influence SL history and culture with your work. In the meantime, I hope RL things work out well for you.

Aw. Atelier des Reves has been around since before I have, and it's by far the prettiest shop in SL. Sad to see it (and Damien) go away.
