I did propose it to the community and the feedback was largely positive: /108/74/115119/1.htmlLewis Nerd proposed that we use Infohubs as a meeting place .. I think that was a great idea. It would be exciting to see different infohubs used as meeting places for different forums. As for the difference between what is currently done, the difference is that a sticky would actively encourage the community to connect with each other on a deeper and more social level than simply the dry debate of the SL forums.

Right on, Iron--next step is to ask the Resident creators of an Infohub what they think, and then organize to get appropriate additions, e.g. a sign linked to the forums, perhaps a meeting space if not already available, and so on and soforth. Lewis has created the Warmouth Infohub which has ample space and a lot of seating, so sounds like he's a good first choice to ask! If you guys agree on it, let me know and I'll put a sticky pointing to Warmouth, or wherever's agreed! And I'll follow along... a disclaimer, should you find me slow, and my regrets: at the current time, I may not personally have the time participate in this as a community project because of everything else I've got queued up, but that doesn't mean interest in it should wane if many Residents would actively use it. I am very keenly interested to see what happens so please, please keep me abreast of developments.
