Not sure if it's been done, or thought of, but why not make a Lottery to reduce inworld L$?

It would havea dual purpose, it would give residents the possibility to win a good amount of L$...

AND would remove a good bit of L$ at the same time.

Initial thoughts::

1) Tickets cost (around) 10L$ each (paid to LL).
2) Random name selection by an OFFISTE system run by LL. (Offiste to prevent hacking/etc)
3) Payouts done like RL, but with "taxes" being the moneysink (or LL profit, ethier way).
3a) One year payout: Residents recieve 80% of the collected L$, but is paid out over a one year period. Either in monthly payments, or perhaps added to that residents stipend payment. Not sure which would be easier for LL.
3b) Lump sum payout: Residents recieve 60% of the collected L$ in a one-time payment.

Note: Numbers mentioned are for idea reference only. actual numbers would need to be calculated to ensure feasibility.
Note: Also, it would need to be looked into about limiting the number of tickets a single resident could purchase. OTherwise, those with a lot of L$ would be the ones purchasing them all. Though I think this mindset would be offset by the 20%-40% "tax". If they paided the most, will they really make a profit?

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

Jessy! Thanx for coffee and the shades. =o)

While I agree this sounds very stimulating--for the economy and because lotteries tend to be quite popular when played en masse--unfortunately we cannot do it for legal reasons.

It was previously inquired about by Sinatra Cartier.
