Torley that's a bullshit answer.
Nimrod has made it very public that he wants to know why his punishment was changed. He posted in Second Citizen the very email he was sent informing him of his punishment which said very clearly and very explicitly that he was banned from ONE portion of the forums.
Several hours later after he posted a good deal of incriminating information about what was going on in the resmod forums his ban was upgraded and he is unable to log into the forums entirely.
That is NOT consistent with the punishment he originally received.
There is no "right to privacy" at stake here, he abdicated that when he decided to give Second Citizen the play-by-play. If necessary I'm happy to ask him to come here and post himself giving the okay for you to explain in detail what happened.
So again, please explain to me how you justify saying "no, we won't punish you for what you do on a third party site" when we clearly, obviously, blatently have at least one example of how that's a lie.

Joshua, first: the answer is correct to the best of my knowledge. Please do not Linden Answers to rant; it's not a place to argue, and certainly not appropriate to make heated accusations when it's possible there may be a misunderstanding or some miscommunication which should be addressed. As it describes in the guidelines: /139/45/138320/1.html Also, per general policy: an account with prior disciplinary infractions may be suspended for a number of days *in addition* to being banned from Answers. When the suspension term is finished, then forum access (with the exception of RA) will be restored. Again, remember that when you can't access inworld, you can't access the forums at all. And abuse-manager@secondlife.com can be contacted with a copy of the full disciplinary letter received, the specific problem, and what we can do to help solve it. Only expect a reply if the claim is found to be valid. Very important: we don't have a way to verify identities on 3rd-party forums, again, alas, I must mention that we can't actually say "That's really him!" :\ I hope this clarifies it some more... I apologize I can't do more to help!
