No more Linden Answers forum?

Torley, you implied yesterday in a post that the LInden Answers forum might be scrapped soon or at the very least changed in some way.

I personally think that this would be fine IF it is made very clear where to ask EVERY type of question, with links to e-mail addresses and that these questions are answered. AND if ALL blog entries have comments turned on, all comments are read and common questions are replied to, as well as having e-mail links for people to ask questions about blog entries.

Just curious what, if any of these will be done?

Hi Musicteacher, if we go ahead and make changes to Linden Answers it will definitely be in the interest of furthered communication between the company and the residents. I definitely agree that it should be clear where people can go for every answer they need. It's actually already pretty easy to get a Linden by email...I'm [email]Blue@lindenlab.com[/email], for example. As far as the blog comments, I don't believe it always makes sense to enable comments as some topics have a far higher noise level, which takes resources away from places where we can directly help the community and individuals*. In the end, the point is to be as available and responsive as possible.
