With regard to Attention Torley: Re: What Happens to our Accounts when we Die?, my apologies, Torley, but I beg to differ. Your response to the question implied, at least to me, that Linden Lab has no policy with regard to what happens to accounts of residents who have died. I am sorry if I misread you. If this is the case, and you said otherwise, would you please quote the relavent passage(s) here, as I find the official blog nearly useless when it comes to looking for anything specific?
All I was trying to do is point out that I have seen such a policy.
I am sorry, but I do not remember exactly where, so I cannot email you with the precise citation. I do, however, remember the gist of the policy. As policies go, it is not much of a policy, merely stating that accounts of deceased residents can be transfered to another owner, but that it will be handled on a case-by-case basis. As near as I recall, this may have been in a section discussing account transfers, or rather the lack thereof.
My memory is rather bad this way. I often remember what but not when or where. Again, my apologies. I`m only trying to help.
Edit:
I went back and re-read your comment.
You are right, and I over-stated my case originaly.
You did not inform us that no such policy exists.
You informed us that you personaly are not aware of any such policy.
My error in phrasing, and my apologies for that error.
Still, I have seen such a policy, and I wanted to inform you of that fact. With this correction, my original post stands: Such a policy has at one time existed, and been published on your website, in an unremembered location.
My apologies for the confusion.
