Groups limit

25 is just toying with us so we have to make another proposal again. Adding 10 groups will not be a help for us. This is the 2nd time Linden Labs has added a few more groups thinking this will satisfy us, when in reality it only annoys us. The proposals were placed in, they were voted on, and they were agreed by linden labs, stop toying with us and give us a significant improvement, 50 minimum.

The ideal fantasy would be to have unlimited groups, yes? That'd also require corresponding resources. As Kelly Linden explained:

Increasing the max number of groups has a significant increase in needed resources: each new group slot means between 1 and {total number of active residents} new groups. That can be a lot. We will be uping the limit to 25 and we do know there is a desire for more so we will be watching carefully to see what the next step will be.

When I started, the max. # of groups was 10. And then it got boosted to 15 and I was like "WOOHOO!" That was the "ceiling" for awhile. And now, some more change. SL's like that--and we're certainly leaving it open, so thanks for expressing yourself. :)

Also of note: having the additional flexibility within the new Groups system will also eliminate redundancies, allowing club owners, managers, promoters, VIPs, etc. to all be in a *single* group instead of having to split that across 3 or 4 like I've sometimes seen done. It's worth considering this point.
