.. when I say, that is the most disrespectful response I have seen yet on the answers forum! Your blog does not address the very valid questions Jamie asked. So how about getting off the "ooh blogs are so great" kick and actually answering the questions?
*Was what was on the database the encrypted version of the Credit Card that was hashed and salted?
*I want to know what is being done to catch the hacker and secure the data? Are the FBI involved?
*Besides credit cards, has the other identifying information been compromised, such as real names, birthdates, mother's maiden names, etc? We can change our credit card numbers if we're concerned but we have the right to know what else that we can not change has possibly been compromised so that we know to keep a closer than usual eye on our credit reports and be able to handle discrepancies immediately.
*How will LindenLabs ensure that this can never happen again?
Do not send people to a blog that does not contain the answers to their questions. And if you absolutely must pimp your blog, at least do it with a little finesse and courtesy.
Please see our blogs to find any updated information about the investigation. If we have information we can share, we'll post it there first.
