As the following threads suggest... /108/7d/127710/1.html/108/d2/126747/1.html/108/5f/127551/1.html...S.L. is loaded with fantastic, original and amazing things- but excepting word of mouth they're hard to find. Could the find menu have some category that would include such things? Or some other reliable source to keep track of them? p.s. I realize fantastic, original and amazing are subjective words, so this may be tricky... *edited to add another thread from someone knowing good stuff is out there but unable to find it

Olympia... historically, your creations are some of the first fantastic wonders I saw in Second Life, which have encouraged me onwards to this day. As you know, I use word of mouth a lot to get the buzz going about the magical in Second Life! What I am beginning to see are some real Resident-run initiatives that I can easily point explorers to. Second Life Art News is great: http://sl-art-news.blogspot.com/and of course the resources named in your threads. I'm not clear on what we at LL can do to help but I'd like to hear more--as you know, we have place categories but that isn't granular enough. Do you have a specific keyword in mind? We have I also know of the Resident Art Galleries network inworld, with notecards showing a list of all participating galleries. Generally, what I hope we'll do is add better search capabilities and facilitate social networking. Word of mouth through a popular blog or Resident-run magazine can be pretty powerful and reach many! (Wouldn't it be something if someone started a Magazine of Eccentric Curiosities and circulated it widely?)
