After seeing ZATZAi Asturias's post about votes changing, I remembered this having happened to me before and I went to go see if I could reproduce it again.
And I was able to.
If I log into the SecondLife.com website using FireFox and then follow the link to https://secondlife.com/vote and select My Votes -- the votes shown are not what I last voted on.
I then started up a copy of Internet Explorer and logged in, checked my votes -- and the correct votes were displayed. If I clear Internet Explorer's cache and cookies, close the browser, then return to the vote page (w/o logging into the site) -- I see the same incorrect votes (via My Votes) as I do when viewing with FireFox.
I also noted that when using FireFox (logged in or not) or Internet Explorer (without logging in) -- top right there is a box that says "Voter Details" and then number of votes available. When it's displaying the incorrect votes, it does not list my name there.
If I'm logged in using Internet Explorer, then it correctly displays my name above the number of votes I have.
If the voter system is only working for MS Windows versions of Internet Explorer, and not for FireFox or other browsers, then you've effectively locked out linux and mac users from voting.
Please tell me this isn't so, and when can we get someone to look at the problem?
Thanks
