After the last few days, it's become super-obvious how active Second Life Answers is. As sort of a Jocasta Nu-style librarian here, spanning thousands of forum posts, I've either replied directly or have asked my fellow Lindens for further insights into questions on your minds. Three things are apparent:

(1) We badly need new Guidelines. The current "How to Use This Forum" served its time, but ours is a rapidly-growing world and adaptation is desired. I'll post a new set soon. How soon? I *hope* next week. Why only hope, and not for sure? Because...

(2) I can't keep up. I apologize that some questions I should have gotten to earlier haven't been. My work queue outside of SL Answers—including all the email I get—has grown to staggering proportions, and instead of letting it topple over, I'm going to work it down to manageable levels. I enjoy my work helping you... so I gently plead for your patience that things are taking longer than the 5 days stated in the current Guidelines. I hope I can actively dedicate a block of time each day to this forum by the middle of next week, Sept. 20-21.

(3) There's a lot that was recently posted that's already been replied to on the Official Linden Blog. Due to time constraints, they won't be answered here again.

Please remember this isn't the right place for support requests, bug reports, and account-specific problems, nor urgent issues, just like it says in "How to Use This Forum". Making posts that do belong here benefits the community, and helps us help you!

I'd also like to thank Robin, Kelly, Jeska, Pathfinder, and all Lindens who've helped out here lately and replied to important issues.

Thanx for your curiosity and understanding! :)
