The instructors channel is being abused. People are spamming it for non-instructing related items. Personal services are being sold on the channel. We really need your help and a Linden coming on once a day and telling everyone to behave and then leaving as fast as s/he came is not 'help.'

On a related note, I know someone's going to ask me today if we'll get the ability to mute group IMs--the answer is that we have that entered as something to do for the new Groups system in the queue... and I'm also aware how sore it's been an issue, since '03! Proof:

As for the root of the Instructors channel being abused, if there are egregious repeat offenders, they should cease immediately or they will be removed from the volunteer programme. I know Jesse posted in:
