User-defined Group IM Temporary Disable

is there a way that you can disable group IMs coming to you temporarily?

It gets rather distracting when you are in an event trying to participate (or even worse, trying to RUN an event), and then get hit with 50 IMs from a group that you belong to.

If you use Mute, then you might miss a useful or pertinent IM from a particular person in that group outside of the group IM system because you would have to mute each and every member of that group, which then becomes tedious and takes even more time away from what you are doing.

Just an addition in the IM system that says "Mute Group" and "Unmute Group" would be helpful, and just stop IMs coming through the Group IM system temporarily.
