'Properties' on an animation brings up 'Play' dialog

Yes, filed a bug report in-world.

But this is bad - I cannot change the properties of animations I create ... which means I cannot set them appropriately for sale. Which means no new products, for me (as almost all contain an animation or two).

Edit: Yes, I saw the release notes on the new 'Play' right-click option - but what I expected was to be presented with a pull-down on right-click (analogous to the right-click options for objects, where you get a choice of 'Wear' vs 'Properties', etc). The way things are now, there's no way for me to upload an animation and change permissions, that I can see.

Is this a known issue?

Edit2: Ok... The 'expected' props dialog still comes up when the animation is in an object. So... a typical use-case: I upload an animation and want to set its properties before passing it to someone in-world. Before I do that, I typically want to check/set permissions. Before, I'd right-click in inventory, select Properties, and do that. Now.. I can rez a plywood cube (if I'm fortunate enough to be in a build-enabled zone, if not I'm out of luck), drop the anim into the cube, set its perms there, and pull the anim back into my intentory - hope the perms stick, since I once again have no way to choose 'Properties' to check them... and pass it to the intended recipient). Was that the intent of the change?

Thanks :)

Hey Tengu, as you likely know, Linden Answers isn't for specific bug reports but I've gonna check this issue out as I was investigating something related... I'll reply in /142/f5/137761/1.html either today or Monday, I *promise*.
