Auction debit from account balance + length of time to pay

Regarding the new auction terms, will our US$ account balance still be debited before our credit card is charged? Or will will our credit card be charged regardless of how much is in our US$ account?

Also, a second question, it looks like if we are willing to have our account inaccessible for 30 days, we will get a total of 37 days to get our credit card billable for the full auction amount without our account being cancelled. Is that correct?

Ah, about the first question, it was also asked by Darkness Anubis and replied to by Chris:

Sorry for the delay. I wanted to confirm with the developers before I posted anything.

If you currently carry a positive account balance, the auction priced will first be deducted from that amount. If there are insufficient funds in the account, then you will be billed, etc… as described in my original post.

I double checked with our customer support group. Here are the standard procedures, from what I can tell, which we use in this instance:

If you have valid billing information, but the card can't be billed (i.e. you hit your limit, etc...), you will have a 7 days of active account use and 30 day of billing hold. After the 37 days your account will be automatically canceled.

However, if you do not have valid billing agreement at the time the auction ends (i.e. no credit card on file) we reserve the right to put your account immediately into administrative hold.
