Why cant we get an IM or something that tell when there have been NEW members of a group?
I can for sure Ustand the type of spamming that can appear but there can also be on on/off solution of this useful information.
And first it should be sent to the officers of the group.

To my knowledge, Tina, I don't know this to be a feature in the new Groups system, more details of which are wickedly explained by Kelly Linden here:
/139/cf/107872/1.html#post1046405 I do think some would like to keep track of a group's membership chronologically, and see who joined when. I would encourage starting a vote proposal about it if you have strong feelings, and get community support to rally around it.  _____________________
