Why not have a picture of the time come up in it's "properties" dialogue box?

It would make it easier to sort, and take less time than (1) find a sim with sandbox-like priveldges (2) pull it out of inventory (3) open the item if it's a package (4) look at the time (in some cases wear it) (5) and THEN be able to determine whether it's something to keep or delete.

Having a pic in the properties would allow (1) right-click, select "properties" (2) look at the picture (3) make decision - All without having to leave your current location.

Hey... I can dream.

It's a great dream, Alexandra. Problem is though, with a 3D creation, a picture wouldn't capture it accurately. Say you wanted to spin it around and look at different angles--say you had different revisions of a single build and wanted to visually inspect it, to make sure that it was infact the newest.

So ideally, I think a 3D way to preview things before rezzing them would be nice. Some may liken this to imagery from The Matrix, where Morpheus and Neo are in that white room.
