In response to your answers here /139/8e/149048/1.htmlFirst, The CopyBot has NO "legitimate" uses. I dare you to state even one "legitimate" use within SL. To say it has any "legitimate" use is utter bullsh!%!! Second, The CopyBot itself violates DCMA subsection 12 (I beleive I have teh correct subsection here), in that any means of circumnavigating as system set in place to protect IP is in violation of the DCMA. CopyBot does indeed cicumnavigate such a system as it nullifies the Permissions set forth by the SL program. That LL 1) Endorced this product initially, and 2) is very lacking in any followup actions to correct this problem puts LL on very shakey legal grounds. At the least, LL could be charge with an accomplice to violation of teh DCMA. Now, do you want to keep trying to stuff lies and misinformation down our throats or would you rather get off your rear ends and fix this mess? ~Jessy

One legitimate use would be in creating machinima (for example, a SL version of Woody Allen's film Zelig) You are also free to copy your own work with a Copybot without it being considered a violation. This is another instance which can also be consdiered a legitimate use. The argument is akin to that of guns killing people, when in fact a human would ultimately be held responsible should he kill someone with a gun.
Quite simply, you are not being fed "lies and misinformation".
