Should we file a DMCA against LL ?

Should we file a DMCA order against Linden Labs for their involvement in the project that has created a tool to circumvent the copyright of content creators or just the libSL team ? I understand the creation and distribution of such a tool is a violation of the DMCA itself, but it's rather confusing where we all stand now as I'm sure you'll appreciate.

The tool itself has legitimate and legal uses, just like a photocopier. It's the infringement of copyrights that is where the law comes in.

So no, you probably shouldn't bother to DMCA the Lab as we haven't actually infringed upon any copyrights.
