This is mainly to Ben Linden, but your comments are always welcome Torley :p

The scoreboard for Arcadia has been posted twice now, and it is still very unclear how the system is working.

One of the developers who's game is not in the top 4 has stated (read his posts today in this thread) in clear english that he intends to game the system by cycling money through other players, and he has placed a box on his arcadia land that makes this very clear. Is this kind of behavior acceptable in a contest where you stated (here) that the voting system is suppossed to favor profitable games? Games that give players "their money's worth". In this case users are donating money and then just getting it passed back to them. It's not a donation at all, it's laundering. A donation means that someone is giving something of value that they have a limited supply of, in this case I could donate 10k to the game, get it passed back to me and then donate it again, get it passed back to me and then donate it again, and on and on.

Picture of the Box (not in post due to size)

Hi Sera,

The game in question is no longer using the box, and the money paid to it is not being counted towards the competition. There is no rule against taking donations, but you are correct that the money should be a "true" payment, and not a way to try and game the payment system.
