Are there now, or have there ever been, servers on the mainland with higher-than-standard prim limits? If so, what were/are the limits? I seem to remember reading about such sims in old issues of New World Notes.

There was an experiment with 4 "city sims". These sims allowed double the normal prim usage, but only half the land in the sim was made available. These are the sims Barcola, Miramare, Sistiana and Grignano. They still allow double prims, but I do not think we have any plans to release any more such sims.
