Help! I'm crashing and I can't log in!

EDIT AGAIN:
I was wrong (again).

My client (new 1.10.1) will not start.

I started it, it runs in the background for a while then just stops. It is still in the background but uses no more memory or CPU. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both SL and drivers, I have uninstalled almost all other programs... please help!

Hi Peter--you posted in the right other place, Technical Issues. I don't know yet if this is part of a bigger problem at play, but I'll go post there...
