Adjusting Poll Criteria

Torley, this one's for you.

As you know, I placed a poll in the Land and the Economy forum with my suggested changes to the forum structure-- /130/b8/107561/1.html

How can I go back and edit poll criteria, not the questions or selections?

Here's what I want to change:

1. I set the poll to never close (oops). I think this should run for two weeks to give everyone a fair chance to vote. Therefore, I want the poll to close on Friday, June 2 at midnight--meaning the start of that day.

2. I know that there is an option to show the residents who voted for which option once the poll closes. I would like to make sure that this potion is not set so that residents votes remain anonymous.

One last question which I did pose in the thread:

I assume that the polling system checks real name account information and not alternate account information to determine if a "person" has voted already. It would not be a fair poll if a single person could vote multiple times just because they had multiple alt accounts.

Is my assumption correct, or can alts of the same RW person cast votes too?

When you start a poll, there should be a link in the upper-left corner of it that says "Edit Poll", I think--but I don't think you can change some elements of a poll after other people have started voting on it, for obvious reasons.

IM/PM/email (torley@lindenlab.com) me if you can't do 1--that might still be configurable.

You can't do 2 however. That's something established at the start of the poll, and done so you can't toggle visibility of who voted on/off.

Alts can vote too. Each account is treated separately when it comes to voting in polls. Hopefully one upside of the names being visible here is that everyone can see who voted.
