In this post you told me to check chat-logs and forum posts. I searched for your forum posts in land and economy and they are WAY too numerous for me to search through. I don't even know where to find the town hall chat logs you are speaking of.

could you please provide some links to follow?

I understand that even though, according to some, too many $L's are entering the world via stipens, and that most of the time too few $L's are being put up for sale because the majority of those in-world $L's are in amounts too small to sell in resident's individual accounts. Regardless, I still believe that it is wrong to take $$ away from the players that need it most when you are putting even more in and making money off it. I also think it is wrong that while your content creators are struggling to sell their $L's you are in effect taking sales away from them by sellinig your $L's.

Not being familiar with the lindex, can a buyer choose who to buy from? can they choose NOT to buy from "Linden Supply"? if not can you please make that an option because should I ever need to buy $L's i want to make sure to buy them from someone who really needs my $US.

In addition I have to just suggest that if there is too much $L in sources please DO NOT ADD TO IT IN ANY WAY as long as you are cutting stipends. YOU are making the problem worse!!!

thanks

In a blog post you stated:
From: someone
In the second half of September we sold L$20,117,994 to prevent rapid appreciation of the L$. Two separate forecasts of what level of L$ sales are likely to be required in October to prevent rapid appreciation of the L$ show this source of L$ exceeding the sum of the L$ sinks. Because there’s no reasonable way to increase L$ sinks that much in the first half of October, we’re left with removing this limitation “4) Sales will be volume-restricted based on Linden Dollar sinks. In any 30-day period, we will not sell more than Linden Dollar sinks in the past rolling 30 days.”

This makes no logical sense at all. All you are doing is putting more $$ out there for people to buy from you, in essence lining your pockets. Don't you see that SL does not NEED you to put more $$ into the economy? The sources are too big, so stop adding to them by selling $L's.

So the value will appreciate a bit. When it goes too high people will stop buying them, then it will start to depreciate. And so goes a normal economy!

My problem is not you reducing stipends, it is you reducing stipends while SELLING LINDENS!!! I can understand that a stipend decrease is necessary, but ONLY if the economy is still going badly without YOUR sales. Do you realize that by selling $L's you are completely negating the effect of sinks on the economy?? Why bother with sinks if you are just going to put that $$ right back into the economy.

The creators do not like competing with you to make their $$, they count on their sales to pay tier, if you keep taking all the $$ that would be going to them, soon they will not be able to pay their tiers and they will leave!

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD idea!!
