Oh my gosh. Linden prices are rising. Everyone panic and buy more $L before they get expensive. LOL. :)

Does panic work both ways. Oh well, just joking around.

Falling markets always have bounces on the way down. It'll take more than a blip to start a buying panic.

I've been doing some figures on the number of blocks at each $ amount, and charting them - GOM is looking a lot more healthy on the wanted side, than it has for the last month. *crossing fingers*, hopefully this is the start of the new economic changes kicking in, and adjusting the supply.

This is what I've been waiting for.
So I can complain about an unstable climb.
Prove that when I say I want stability, that's what I mean.
Refute the allegation that I am just a whinger with a personal investment to protect.

Humor - ok ? .....partly..........

We....shall....see......maybe the significance of the coming ratings cut is finally beginning to seep into our communal psyche.
(Actually I think it's far too small for even the slightest conclusion yet. Down in the noise.)

That is key, stablity! If we keep having this big wave of up and down it is just as bad as a steady trend in either direction. There will alway be fluctuations, just hopefully not this large any more.

When the price is going down, it's "panic". When it's going up, it's "irrational exuberance".

Well, I hope it's not a dead cat bounce.

FRIDAY

MONDAY (today)

That's a picture of GOM's current Buy/Sell orders; as I said above -- it's beggining to look a bit more healthy. :)

It looks like all the money traders are all sitting it out after having cashed out. The sell orders are all small, with no sell orders of 100 units or more below 3.80. It looks like someone might be buying back in with an order for about 700 units at 3.37. Probably Surina or Alby (the greedy one's) buying back in. My guess is that it's dead cat bounce.

Actually, I think it more a result of the big Katrina movement; that was a LOT of extra money thrown up on the GOM, thus overwhelming normal buy demand.

I thought you'd take that as a compliment. Actually, I took the opportunity to do some quick trading. I at least need to make tier for the month.

There you go. Go watch the movie Wall Street. Although, by the end of the movie, I think it was determined that greed was not good. I was just kidding with you anyway Surina.

Right. It is very important to watch movies. Movies are always acurate representations. Watching movies is the best way to learn what goes on in the world.

Learning to lighten up has it's merits too.

Not positive, but I feel the lack of 100 blocks on GOM a day or two ago
was due to the fact you could sell for higher rates on IGE. Some of the
big players were selling there rather than GOM. IGE rate has come
down a little since then, so perhaps more sellers back on GOM now.
Anshe has fairly good sell rates too....
We'll see.

Well, I guess it is still a dead cat bounce. It is interesting that the dead cat started to fall again, with sellers placing single orders as big as 672 blocks at a time as underbids. The good news, is that it didn't seem to fall until someone came in and tried the whole bulk sale again. The bad news is that everyone will likely follow.
