Okay, I see now, after asking someone, "advanced settings"
This is totally unclear. By default, people are not let their prices be set - leading to increase inflation. They don't make it clear anywhere on the page that: (a) You are able to set the price (newbies won't assume this) (b) Where to go to change the settings And when you do go to change the settings, it just offers: Interface Mode: Basic (displays the most basic market information) Advanced (displays all market information) Is says *nothing* about the ability to limit buy or sell. There needs to be: (a) A link on the buy and sell pages right under the box that says "advanced" that people can click right there to change it. (b) An explanation in the main currency exchange page that people can set their own prices. _____________________

New "advanced" mode leads to major inflation /130/c8/110945/1.html#post1069057 I have sold L$ many times, and I went to sell today and was totally confused. After asking, I found out about the new "advanced" settings. I have some feedback for this - because in the current state, it's confusing, doesn't explain to new users that they can set the price, and it is increasing the inflation problem with the L$. Issues that can be improved: 1. Nowhere in the main currency exchange page is there any mention that a user can set the price. For veteran users such as myself, I know that it's part of the system, but for all the new users, they may have no clue about this. This should be made clear, because if people just use the default "sell at best rate" it's basically a juggernaut to inflation --- it means that anyone can low-ball a price and then unsuspecting people will be led to sell at that price. For example, say the going rate is 330L/USD. I then come in, set 100,000 L$ to sell at 400L/USD. Unsuspecting newer folks then just use the default, and suddenly there's a bunch of money for sale at 400L/USD, where had they had the advanced options handy, they'd realize they could just set it for sale at 331L/USD 2. Please remove the advanced / default settings from the actual buy/sell interface. 3. If not 2, then at the very least, add a button / link called "Set the price you buy / sell" that is directly underneath the box where you set how many L$ you want to buy sell. Clicking that button should then automatically change you to advanced mode, and bring up the box where you can set the price. _____________________

No idea what that actually means though. |
