I agree with your feature request to Lindens, blaze. It would be cool if people could not just choose wether or not allow one object to access their L$ account but also decide on a limit. Such as I allow some payment device to take up to 10000 L$ per day from my account.
As for your idea of variety and choice I agree and will talk with Apo. But I still want point out that many of my customers (or customers of SLExchange.com) simply trust my judgement that whatever option the service offers is save and fair. I am not the kinda person who is going to say: "You decided use this device while you COULD have used xyz - your fault!". Customers should not be required read fine print or study and comprehend the details of some complex technical system. Anything people are able to use should be made save.

Well, the current situation is such that that the customer is at risk.
Using a properly implemented personal ATM, the user will be at less risk but they have to trust you more.
I know you might disagree with this, however we should start talking LSL specifics rather than generalizations if we're going to continue this discussion.

What about a personal ATM that allows one to withdraw money, but not deposit? This might make depositing significant amounts to their SLExchange accounts more palatable, since the money more easily accessible for other purposes.

I don't know about others, but i don't want any third party web business holding more than about $1,000L of my money.
Who really knows what is being done with money held in "trust", especially when the amounts are very large, and especially with the TOS violations of 2nd parties with pass word access to the AV accounts where these moneys are held.

That's the way it already works.. Except you initiate it from the web page.
The other issue, as has been mentioned here, is that people don't want SLExchange Incorporated using our funds for, say, buying and selling SL real estate.
I guess if they provided some guarantees about that it might go a long way.
