From: Ricky Zamboni Well, Anshe's never been anything but upfront and professional in her dealings with me, which is why I find it so distasteful to see the way people slam her in these forums.
The Lindens can boot anyone's ass any time they feel like it. That's a non-trivial part of the reason GOM was discontinued -- the knowledge that for any or no reason they could cancel our account and leave us potentially liable to our customers. And if Anshe had the sense I'm sure she does, she'll either get a *written* contract with LL, or unwind her positions in this venture -- either over time or all at once. and it is possible ricky but most people that have dealt or seen some actions she has done in the past dont help her reputation while ur 1 person there are alot other that could say the opposite i wont debunk her but i do feel she has to much power and mabye should be limited in retrospect about how much she can exactly own to give other people a chance!!!

If "most people that have dealt" with her are dissatisfied, why does she have so many customers? The last number I heard was that Dreamland has some 500 monthly residents. If AnsheChung.com was cheating them and generally behaving badly, you'd think people would be leaving in droves. There are other managed communities to joun, y'know... Also, your statement that you feel "she has to [sic] much power and mabye should be limited in retrospect about how much she can exactly own to give other people a chance!!!" smacks of sour grapes. Anshe has come into SL, built up a powerhouse of a successful business through hard work and dedication and now you're cheesed off that you don't see any way to compete. Jealousy over another's success is no way to compete!

From: Ricky Zamboni Get a clue, Dmitri. If the suspension occured prior to the stated seven day grace period for overdue accounts, then Anshe was treated inequitably. Just because it happened to *her* doesn't mean it's okay. You have any proof that the 1st of April, 06 wasn't the 7th day?

From: Luth Brodie Actually during the day she was suspended it went down to 292 then up to 300 after someone at LL was dragged into the office on a saturday to change their "mistake." Actually she wasn't suspended til right before close of business so the daytime amrket really doesn't say much for that day

From: Ricky Zamboni Thanks for your advice, Dmitri. Thanks to your insightful comments I've managed to get a clue. Given that you don't seem to know what you're talking about, I'm happy to educate you. Here is yet another statement of the "special treatment" Anshe received in this incident. Tell you what, you show me a side of the story she isn't stating then maybe I'll listen...but I did see her response to her own thread that night that contradicted it jsut happenning out fo the blue. She knew it was coming adn she had the same amount of time any of us have to avoid it. In actual fact she didn't pay her bill on time so she got suspended..JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES.

This actually is very informative to me, and should be to everyone else who's been watching whats been going on. From: Anshe Chung During the past 18 months the value of L$ has decrease from 5 US$ per 1000 L$ to 3.33 US$ per 1000 L$. If this trend continues it poses one serious issue for investors and the economy in Second Life.
To address this, together with partner businesses both from land, service and content sector, we have designed one alternative currency for micro-transactions on the Internet, currently refered to as "Anshe$". Most components are already in place since 2 months and functional.
Features of this currency system:
o Value backed by silver Euro held by ANSHECHUNG Studios, Ltd. o Central payment server that seemlessly ties into content vendor devices in Second Life and any other platform accessible via XMLRPC o Full integration with Second Life land sale system o Full integration with PayPal automatic debit o Web interface and integration with major SL related shopping websites o Online currency exchange market vs. US$, EUR and GBP
Since we have no interest in competing with Linden Lab we currently do not plan to introduce this currency and hope that the Linden$ will eventually become one stable and reliable currency.
However, considering currency devalution losses of more than 5000 US$ during the past 2 weeks, if the L$ drops further and reaches one level below 3 US$ per 1000 L$ (1:333) we would face insurmountable economic pressure to switch land sales, rentals and content sales to one more stable currency platform and offer the same opportunity to every other business in Second Life. Backed by Euro, and more stable then the L? Well lets see what Guni has to say in your thread you linked us to..... From: Guni Greenstein Anshe doesn't need silver in coffers to provide a currency. Her currency is backed by the Linden, in turn backed by the dollar, if you will, or merely backed by the USD which is the currency for PayPal acceptable in the U.S. In fact, the actual game/LL location is irrelevant.. Seems it's backed by the L$? So it's stronger then the currency backing it? Something else Guni said in that thread also caught my attention.... From: Guni Greenstein Given that the $50,000 was obtained by in fact cashing hard-earned Lindens out for lower than their value if a 30-day period were waited with different packets on the LindEx, what's the big deal? And yet she's complaining that the value had dropped? We now see who is doing it! But maybe I'm confused, or maybe they are.

Yes you're confused Prokofy Neva made the post you are attributing to Guni. Before those statement's could be fairly attributed to Guni or Anshe you'd have to see Prok's source.

Exchange is at around 300 - Anshe is suspended - Exchange makes its way to 292 - Anshe is unsuspended - Exchange rate goes back up to 300. As per the high/low of the day on April 1st.
