I am just tired of some of the content makers saying that the premium members with their stipends are the cause of the Lindens devaluation. We support Linden Labs with our dollars both in membership and tier. I just dont want to lose my stipend and when that fails to prop up the Linden to get blamed for not buying content. I understand but be careful of who you blame for SL's woes. If it weren't for our talented content creators we would all still be stumbling around SL in our newbie skins and hair styles, wearing the same jeans and shoes. ugh! Just think about how we, and SL, will look in a year or two by simply generously supporting these talented individuals. Without them, I doubt this will be possible. |

I pay for my stipend! I pay Linden Labs for that service. . . I refuse to suffer to make landlords and content providers more money! . . . I refuse to buy Lindens with dollars!! I refuse to buy content with dollars! If I have to will make everything myself. I have lots of content to play with and can figure out how to do it with time. I am not on Second Life for content it is a side benefit. Ditto! As a content creator, I don't plan to raise my prices. At the same time, if I lost my stipend, the least I would do is stop buying textures and the occasional other goodie. The next thing I would do is consider tiering down. coco _____________________

Well you got paid for it, the skins and clothing were not free! With out cash it is not possible either. However, I do wonder if someone is playing the two sides against each other. In the end both consumer and content maker are a customer of Linden Labs. They are the one that created the problem of the linden. They should be the one that solves it to the satisfaction of it customers. Perhaps both sides should look at them and not fight with each other? |

Yes, the only difference being that on my side we have experts and intellects in the field of economics agreeing with me, and on your side you have a bunch of conspiracy theorists and people who believe that the "rich people" are out to get them. Nevermind the simple fact that your side's beliefs and opinions fly clearly against that of the experts and intellects in the field of economics. I don't know about you, but If I were on your side I'd be seriously concerned about my fiscal and phylosophical mindset if I suddenly discovered that my beliefs and opinions were directly in synch with that of conspiracy theorists, and those whose beliefs have been so clearly refuted by experts on the matter.
