I've had great customer service in Dreamland. There is always an "angel" on the Dreamland channel when I need one. I live in Provincetown and the sim is beautiful. Anshe holds regular meetings in Central Park. And that is another thing I like about Dreamland, Central Park is an entire sim dedicated to public space. Here's a little pic of my place.

I also rent from Hiro. So far, I'm really happy. I've had my plot for about... a week, a week and a half, and there's still no building there because I'm making my store from nearly scratch and am caught up in texture hell. He noticed the lack of a store and asked if everything was okay, which earns him points in my book.

And he hasn't even complained about the big hole I've dug in the ground. ;) (It's a future reflection pool, if you're wondering.)

I have rented from several SL landlords including Anshe. So far the best I have found and the place I am happiest is the RainForest Sim. The sim is breathtakingly beautiful, the Mayan Temple build is one of SL's premier builds and a must see and the lush tropical foliage and inland rivers make the sim a hikers ad sailors dream. In addition Selena is genrerous with her prim allowences has built the most amazing tree homes and is as easy as pie to deal with. I strongly reccomend you all check the place out

I rent from Azure Islands (Adam Zaius and crew) in Deneb and have been there pretty much since they brought Deneb online. They are very helpful and friendly, offer great rates and have very nice infrastructure - something many rentals are missing.

I've also heard, though I do not have first-hand experience, about Hiro. All comments are similar to the many listed here.

I live in dreamland, and i couldn't be happier.Anshe has always been helpful and respectfull and answered all the questions i threw at her when i was buying the land.

Like somebody mentioned, she holds regular community meetings(which i have never been to doh) and always informs us of any changes either via email or using the voting system.

Theres always angels to answer questions and they are very helpful.

I also rent from Hiro via a group i belong to and have a store.Although i have never met him, i did speak to him in an IM once, and he seemed like a nice fella answering questions and being polite.

Thumbs up to both of my landlords,i'm chuffed :)

For island living, Hiro Queso hands down.

For mainland living, Prokofy & Ravenglass.

Ive rented from both. Only positive experience.

I'll have to give credit where credit is due... the Azure Islands experience is great. As Juro mentioned, the existing infastructure is fantastic, the sims are well layed out, the zoning is loose enough to not inhibit freedom while still preventing obnoxious behavior, and the whole experience - from the rent terminals to dealing with the staff, selecting plans, etc - is very user-friendly and slick. The addition of void-style sims gives plenty of open water for boating, some open land for snowmobiling and off-roading, and plenty of open space for flying... And that's when your not enjoying driving along the vast network of roads.

Hiro Queso and Raziel Vesperia
02-14-2006 20:13
I've posted this before in another thread, but since we're doing "thumbs up for great landlords" thread, I'll say it again.

For zoned commercial, Hiro Queso is the bomb. The guy is professional, organised, friendly, helpful and responds very promptly to my not infrequent group reallocation requests as I shift prim allowences around. I am probably a huge pain in the behind but Hiro always seems happy to assist me.

Hiro was so great that I initially lived on one of his commercial sims. When I decided I wanted a purely residential neighbourhood, I look around a lot and finally ended up with Raziel Vesperia. Vesperia is four contiguous sims formin one large island, with lots of protected waterways and outcroppings, which makes it a really lovely place to live. Raz is a sweetie, active in his community, and investeted in developing Vesperia as a quaility controlled residential sim, which I really appreciate.

If feet are votes, three of my neighbours have the same arrangement I do - commercial land with Hiro, residential land with Raz. We're discerning renters :)
