English aristocrats who spent their commoners' tax money on theatres while people were starving in the streets of England are not a role model for us.

Ummm Shakespeare was the son of a glove-maker.

There are many different and controversial theories as to "who" Shakespeare really was. Some suspect him to be of noble descent.

On the other hand: What is sure is, that Shakespeare's famous Globe Theater was not catering to aristocrats primarily. It was a very "popular" theatre (in the original sense of the word) and a very commerce-focused one.

I am not sure, if this part of the discussion qualifies as thread-hijacking, though. ;)

Please remember that the bulk auction is a test. Anshe and Guni are participating at risk, as are the others who have purchased land there. All are astute business people who will adapt to the market as it develops, and we'll learn what it takes to develop an environment that people value. In a world that is new and still evolving occasionally there are mistakes, but more often I see creative solutions and exciting new ideas.

So please, let's just see where it goes! Enjoy the ride.
