Hehe...I'm sittin' on my money gained from selling L$ until they "automate" the Paypal process and it becomes cheaper to do the Paypal transfer as promised...

I think I'll toot my own horn here. I bought a rather large quantity of Lindens mostly at L3.36 and a bit more at L3.05 in September. I just cashed out at L3.95. I calculate that I made 12% after all of the fees from LL and GOM so I'm not complaining. I don't forsee doing more trading like that in the near future though.

I just bought US$5 and got L$1098 back. That comes out to about L$219 to the US$1. So does that mean that L$ is going for about US$4.50 per L$1000 or do I have my math wrong? For game purposes I think Linden should keep the currency exchange rate at a fixed rate so as to avoid speculating, unless this is a level of gameplay they WANT to encourage. I also realize that this is also a money making venture for them. I find it all distracting to to the game and to me makes it too much like RL.
