Rathe, do you have a link for that?
I do know unless you do volume business you will get charged 2.9% for a premier account transaction, whether it comes from Canada or domestic.

Figured it out...

Turns out PayPal has a new feature called "mass pay". This allows users to send payments to premier and business members without the recipient having to pay the receiver's fee. It will cost us a small fee to send the withdrawal, but it's much less than our customers wuold have to pay, and that's definitely worth it to us!
So, we're on top of this now, and are going about the business of implementing it ASAP. Hope to have it online soon! _____________________

Ah hah that explains why IGE suddently changed from paying out right away to paying every few hours. _____________________

Wow!! Awesome find Ricky! Can't wait to see this implemented, as a Business PayPal account holder I've been very reluctant to make withdrawls from GOM do to transaction fees incurred. It's been cheaper to let my balance add up and then request a flat fee money order and wait the 7 days.

I can't imagine you're paying out to too many premier accounts. But yeah, this would be a nice option for those of us who prefer to use GOM.

I'm a faithful GOMmer with a premier PayPal account and am perfectly willing to wait a day or two to be included in a mass payout to avoid incurring the personal transfer fee.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think we'd push back the payout schedule because of this. In fact, since it will make doing withdrawals immeasurably easier from my point of view, we may be able to process them sooner than we have been. ![]() _____________________
