But of course everybody knows this, everybody predicted this, and nobody is worried about it.

Of course.

Its your duty as a unintentional self pardy, you parasitic legend.

Quit selling freebies and the L$ might go up.. oh wait theres still no real inflation, only an exchange rate change.

I look forward to your next communist post Jamie.. really..

Actually, selling freebies will likely prompt more than a few newbies to purchase L$ they otherwise might not have, thereby bolstering the exchange rate. Hard to tell what's a bigger influence though; the exchange rate being pumped up by newbies buying currency to purchase Jamie's recycled items or the exchange rate being pushed down by Jamie cashing out said L$.

Dramatically falling 2 Lindens per $1 in a day and maybe 4 for the week. This is a small stable fall and nothing dramatic and still may close at even late tonight.

277L /1USD is nothing a big thing to worry about its just part of daily market flux, we should see it down to 275-276 quite soon when the sellers maintain the current rates with the current buying demand shaving the remainder of the 1.5m lindens @ 276 limit. Of course not attempting those rather occasional 300-320 sell orders.

I'm waiting for the Linden to go above 216L/USD$1. Then I can open 128 premium accounts, sell the stipend for profit and use the combined income to fund the sim I bought using nothing but first-land lots.

So please, everyone stop selling Lindens until I'm able to realize my dream.

I saw 300 early this morning, but 320? Wouldn't that be profitable to buy at 320 and sell at 275?
I know its a stupid question, but why would someone sell at such a poor rate. It's not going to get their order through any faster than it would at 280. It doesn't effect the market price either.

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie.. couldn't you do your Chicken Little impersonation with a different color font and some pictures next time? It would be far more entertaining that way :)

Well not everyone, but I do recall a few posters predicting high 270's, so some did.

Hell, I wouldnt be worried if it hit 300. or 400. It might be a surprise to some in these forums but many people in SL wouldnt be worried because ITS A GAME. Certainly, the people BUYING lindens would be quite happy - and seeing as every sale requires a buyer, there must be a lot of those guys too.

The title of this thread might have been justified if the L$ had reached a dramatic new low, rather than just dropped to where it was a week or two ago.

Nah, I was enjoying the upswing when it was going up. Everybody is happy when they are making money, but you gotta go on the lookout when you begin losing it.

Ya dig?
