No Mussolini I could handle.. I request you change what you called me Reserve. Otherwise I will put in an abuse report. I am part german, by blood bebrew, and partly romani (gypsy)

Do -not- compare me to my relative (by marraige anyway). I request you immediately remove the hitler comment as it crosses the line.

SL's rate of inflation isn't too great, most of it comes from premium accounts. I haven't calculated the numbers exactly in 6 months so it's hard to say where the balance is exactly. I wouldn't worry about SL inflation, the cost of products compaired to the quantity and availability of cash in SL makes inflation a moot point.

Lets not call each other coldwar & wwii era names.

If Prims were a Commodity, then the cost of production would
have an intrinsic value that would vary based on the changes of
the US$/L$ exchange rate and the L$/Prim exchange rate.
Not when they're produced by the slave laber of offline agents!

Financial matters can be discussed without addressing each other as dictators and derailing the thread. Please keep this civil (not "civil war";) and on-topic. :)

Torley, I requested he change the name he called me to 'Mussolini' as he has before which I honestly took no offense. My ancestors were victims of the holocaust and while a certian level of humor and snide comments I can accept. I refuse to lay down and let this go without meritted punishment from the Lindens. I tried to be polite and ask him to change it but he has not. I now filed an abuse report.

I don't recall you asking me to change it. I will now that I know it touches a rl subject.

As much as I disagree with your econimic views I wouldn't cause stress knowingly.

I'm pretty new to SL, and I'm wondering how the $L economy survives. On payday, loads of money is handed out, but where does this come from? Do Linden introduce more money in to the economy every payday? If so, does this lead to a loss in value of $L, and does anyone know what the rate of inflation in SL is, 'cause I can imagine it's pretty high.

Although I'm covering my premium costs now, I'm trying to see if my (ever so boring) camping strategy is viable in the long term. Will inflation make dancepads & camping a thing of the past, or is it likely the payout from such mundane activities will increase?

So, If anyone has a crystal ball, please let me know what the future holds =)

Are you R.B.D.'s alt???
