Well thats my fear about not having an open market. IGE could turn round and set a price of buying L$ at 1.00, and selling at 4.00. If they went to that extreme, they would get no business of course, but just as an example. I spoke with Philip an hour ago, the exchange system is almost ready, they will kick in shortly. This panic is just nonesense. In fact there is no panic whatsoever, it is completely artificial. |

If you need $US for your Lindens now, I would suggest selling them to Anshe Chung (not IGE, considering their bad rep in SL). If not, hang onto them untill LL opens its curency exchange.

I'd keep mine If everyone sell their linden when gom closes , your money will instnaly be worth alot more inworld because no one will have any cash to buy anything , people will have to lower prices for everything  .. this is flawed logic. GOM is not like IGE, they don't buy lindens at all. For every linden dollar sold, there is a buyer who is a full avatar in world. So currency just goes round in circles.
