From: Jodina Patton Curious if LL wants a more stable economy and there is more $L for sale than what people are demanding then why doesn't LL just buy the $L back off the exchange and not return it back to the economy? Because the price isn't right yet for buyers to buy the linden en masse. In other words, ist still overvalued. Funny how buyers NEVER complained when it was 250 to the dollar..it was unstable then too, just in the sellers favor.

From: Jamie Bergman Due to popular (and public service) demand, I've reopened my blog. Learn from the best. I predicted this SL depression. http://sleconomyblog.blogspot.com/ Are you going to tell us the tricks of the trade such as robing the hard work of others producing freebies so we can make a ton of money on content we did not create?

From: Jamie Bergman No problem. I could never abandon SL or her citizens in their collective hour of need. Really should stop using alts to back your claims up. It gets old fast.

From: Jonas Pierterson I haven't read the blog. But you are as much the 'greatest economic mind' as you are a 'capitalistic legend.' To paraphrase someone whos name slips my mind 'I can be a legend in my own bedroom too, simply by saying it.' Just because you say you are a capitalistic legend, or the greatest economic mind, does not make it true. In your case, neither are true. Reminds me of this lady who used to run around the clubs in SL with the group title hottest girl in SL. She made the group herself. Kinda hard not to be the best when you're the only one with voting power adn you vote for yourself isn't it?

From: Ketra Saarinen To a degree.. But the inflowing L$ has actually decreased recently with the reduction in Dwell. Yes the L$ has plummeted instead. First with the announcement that LL will sell L$ if needed, which caused an unwarranted panic. And now with the Limit Buys, and sellers filling the outrageously low orders. It seems that the recent downfall is more psychologically driven than supply drivern. Yet it seems you're stating the opposite. That's where my confusion truly lay. Check the graph for daily $L value for the past week or two. Changes in the market have causes it to stop declining, or even to rise, for a day or two, before it continued on the decline. It was dropping fast way before limit orders were implemented. $50l cut was announced, and we have another drop/slowdown on the same or following day. I am sre the trend will continue once again either tomorrow or after the end of the weekend. To mee that seems that LindenLabs' announcements tend to put some breaks on the decline that's already in progress, but the slowdown is just temporary. Not what people have been claiming, that the new market tools or announcements/changes have made the $L plummet. It's been plummeting for a while. It simply got more efficient at it with limit orders, but hopefully it will hit a balance soon.
