why do people continuously feel the need to ruin second life by using such a high exchange rate! STOP SELLING SUCH A HIGH AMOUNT OF LINDEN PER $1USD!
When I see things like "Today's high: L$350 / US$1.00 " and last month it used to sell at around L$277/$1USD i start to worry. Just f#*kin be patient and sell at reasonable rates. Because you want to cut the queue line to sell your linden's faster than other people, you are ruining the worth of ingame currency. To anyone who cuts the queue, please just be patient and stop f#U|(ing around with the market.
Thats the market dear Chris... If you don't like it, put your
money where your mouth is and buy up the L$ to hold it at
a higher price. Don't curse others for trying to sell at any price
instead of holding out for more. How about all those still holding
out for L$250? When will their orders be executed? Will you buy
their L$?
"The Market", this is you and me and we determine the valuation
of L$. Not what you want it to be. The L$ had (NO) value other than
what "The Market" is willing to pay. So if an offer goes out to sell at
L$350 and the buyers jump over each other for that price, then you
know that block was undervalued and a boom to the buyer. If an
off goes out to sell at L$200 and there are no takers, then you know
the market rejects that price and refuses to appease the seller with
any buy offers.
Just as it is in real life, so it is in Second Life. Free Markets dictate
prices, not socialists who believe value is a static force. Accept the
fact, that Linden Dollar valuation is constantly changing and there
is no accepted value. Its value is whatever "The Market" decides.
