I've been looking at the two systems and I think Lindex is very much a buyers market. If you are a seller then you have to wait until a buyers buys your L$, so if you need too cash out quite its not the place to sell efficiently.
The Slexchange one however, is the opposite, its very much a sellers market, most of the action I've seen takes place on the sale side. Hence why in the last couple of weeks, the price dropped as somebody was obviously cashing out quickly and wasn't too fuss what the price was.
I suspect there are arbitrage opportunities between the two systems but the Lindex fees does make it tricky to do the calculations.

Let's hear it for huge market fluctuations due to market manipulation by SL's high rollers

Actually it's more of a balanced market. Buyers and sellers are equally welcome to name their price. If LindeX could be called a market, it would be a pure seller's market. Buyers aren't welcome to set their terms, they must simply take the seller's price. Don't like the price being offered by sellers? Too bad! Agree. I was trying to work this out a couple of days ago and just gave up.
