If you really wanted to save Second Life... you'd find something else to play instead.

Lewis

I hear There needs some serious attention. I don't know if they have freebies that you could resell for a quick buck, though.

In terms of compensation, I would ask no more than I'm currently making and would request that I do not have to relocate. If I did have to relocate, I'd be willing to, but I may need a cost of living adjustment.

I'm willing to step up to save Second Life.

Most Sincerely,
Jamie Bergman

Sorry Jamie,

Since all of you out there are experts, what should the value of the L$ to USD be? Think of it as an interview question.

It doesn't matter what it ends up being... the important thing is a target be set, and the L$ remain relatively stable around that target.

It should be what the buyers are willing to pay.

Why should a target be set, shouldn't the market set the target?

True answer> It should be fully conrtolled and locked by Linden Labs at a cashout rate of 350 per USD cash out to Linden only and buying price of 300 per USD. ALl third party sales except to approved Linden contractred sites using Linden's pricing should be a banable ofense on the ToS. That would halt the decline of the L. Stabilise the economy and have the added benefit of getting rid of freebie resellers who use thier own alts in the forums to back thier BS up.
