Edit: $3.67 now And the price is dropping, I wonder what this is doing to theday traders bottom line, it can't be good for them either. I also wonder if this could induce panic in the market. But then IGE is still buying at 3.80 per kL so will it return to that price? or will it stay low? _____________________

I actually like the new system, in theory. It makes sense. The problem as I see it is that it gives the immediate gratification crowd much greater sway over the market. Anyone wanting to sell their $L now has to wait in cue. Sellers of small amounts of $L can no longer ask a higher price. Everyone has to wait for the lowest priced $L to sell, before they sell their $L. It was inevitable IMO that this new system would drag down the value of the $L. It is now a buyer's market. _____________________

I would say 2.10 per KL is a crash. Or maybe another hacked account? This is unreal.

How much was put at $2? You will notice the largest block is for sale at 1.6 million for sale at 3.87.
Didn't GOM used to have a yearly chart? What has been the historical low? _____________________

Woah bebbeh. Did someone just dump a ton on the market or something? I think there's a bunch of happy L$ buyers right now.

I heard that someone just dumped on the market, which was weak to begin with... it is quickly coming back to a higher price... but there are a lot of happy buyers right now

Now it's back up to 3.61/1000. Hmm... Sounds like a conspiracy to me ![]() I know that was tongue-in-cheek, but rather than being a conspiracy, this really shows the resilience of the market. Even with a series of big sales dropping the price to almost half its nominal value, it has bounced back to where it was within a matter of a few minutes. _____________________

Or maybe there was a reason it came back so soon... Someone was watching the market...

Ricky,
I don't understand this new system. Why are you taking away the free market and forcing people to fill orders. Why can't people pick and choose the order they want to fill freely as they did in the past? I am really disappointed in the new system and have taken my business to IGE. _____________________

Someone just bought a string of orders to buy a unit or two of L$ to get that side down very low. That was interesting to see, but realistically, it is the big orders of L$ for sale that really indicates the current price.
However, there certainly is a sale on L$ at the moment, unless the price is really headed toward the $3 per unit point. |

Yeah no kidding!
Still, Ricky, I'd watch that account if I were you, just in case. _____________________

ONe possibility was that it was just one avatar selling to another ALT.
So they only gave up 3% to Ricky in order to dick with the market. _____________________
