I posted to the Linden Q&A
/139/7e/108416/1.html
L$78609 / US$1.00 1 L$5,000,000
you have got to be joking! nice to know some people don't give a damn about other people that use SL as a job investing thousands of dollars into it to make SL a fun place to be and in return help them pay for their SL and RL bills.

I place a hex on those playing with my livelyhood.
I also see alot of sims shutting down and businesses that make SL. congratualtions!

Say what? That's a buy OFFER. Why did you post that up? Anyone can enter those numbers into the boxes.

Yeah, if anyone is dumb enough to sell 5mil at 78k+ to 1, then they probably don't have 5mil in the first place, heh.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

If I have things right, you don't pay a fee if you put a Market Sell up, in other words, you take whatever you can get rather than waiting for a particular rate.

If you put a limit order in then Linden take a fee for doing so, hence the lower amount you get.

I guess it's a way of trying to get people to stear clear of putting silly limits out there and encouragiung people to just sell straight away..

As for the L$78609 / US$1.00 1 L$5,000,000 part... not sure ... the sell option was playing up when I experimented with it this morning... usually, as you know, that is where you type your requirements in but it was going wierd for a while..

EDIT - Oops - others replied quicker than me... :o

No, the fee structure remains the same as before. $0.30 for buys (limit OR market) and 3.5% for sells (limit or market).

scratch my previous reply then... i was sure the fee had been dropped for market sells

oops... :o

In which case I have no idea why there is a difference shown if you limit at the market rate.... something really odd going on there...

Best advise... sell in whatever way gets you the most US$...

ya thanks, still confused, I think it is a bug though I cant use estimated feature in the limited. according to the bug no matter what i sell at it is the same price and lower then the market price. i'll email chris later about it. in a nutshell it isnt working properly which hence results in freak out.
