Not even money they removed from the economy. Only money that other players put up for sale. Economies as large as SL's are complex and you can't toy with them very much without A) throwing them out of whack or B) giving profiteers an entrance to screw up SL for everyone else in order to pad their own wallets. I like the idea of laissez-faire, but in practice it leads to horrible abuses, viz. OPEC.

It's already happened in other MMO environments. A hundred grand for some s#1tty chain mail, etc.

Know what, maybe it's best they not get their feet wet with this at all. Maybe GOM and IGE are enough. If the land situation were amenable, maybe, but it's not.
