Personally I agree with all of you on the point of the 2 person group. I think the groups should be a bit more flexible, by this I mean to say that groups should have more control over the structure of the group, multi-tiered groups etc, having just officer and member excludes orders etc without having multiple groups and that gets confusing and hard to manage not to mention it impedes on the amount of groups they can be in aside from one group. For instance say you have a corporation setup you should be able to do the following. Founder(s) CEO(s) upper eschelon management lower management/leads lower leads normal folk mail boy etc The same could go for a military based setup with different ranks from private on up. I dont think restricting it to two levels is a good plan in the long run. I am currently setting up a mage guild with a serious take on it (i.e. having to work your way up the ranks) and this would require significantly more than two layers to the group. Also the ability to set levels of responsibilty and access to certain things based on these layers would be spectacular. Some of this may be poorly said and I apologize if it is not very clear, I am having a hell of a time getting my thoughts in order. In short....how about a bit more control -Neil

I got asked to join a group on Sunday and that person was the only member. so now, unless they've asked more people, there are 2 members.

Well, I'm a newcomer to this thread, but let me also endorse the suggestion of two member groups.
Thank you.

Go Neil! I think we should have numerical clearance levels with assignable titles and permissions. I also think this voting thing is dumb. We should be able to have several styles of group government, monarchy, democracy, communism, anarchy, dictatorship... like in civ

If you have a company (assuming it is a private, non-stock based company) you should not be able to vote your boss out of the company!

Right now group numbers are disabled aren't they? I've been the one lone member in a 'group' for a few weeks now. That a bug or just that the Lindens have listened.

And fix the damn calling card perms. If I grant permissions for someone to modify my items that should OBVIOUSLY include the scripts!

If that worked I wouldn't even need a 2 member group. I forgot we could do that but geez if it doesn't work for scripts what the heck?
