Im scripting an elevator, and am not fond of the avitar performing the walking animation while riding the elevator. I heard the solution to this was to script a llStartAnimation into the moving object. I did, but the new animation thing blended the walking animation and the "sit_ground" animation that I was using together, still creating the waking while riding elevator effect. Please make a way we can truly control the animations our avitar uses, perhaps make a llCombineAnimations(FALSE) script call. -Chris : omeone who doesnt like the crapload of new features dumped into SL before consideration of things they would disturb::

I also think they should either take off this new "groups have 3 members or they die" rule, or let us type in our own "titles" for when we are not in a group.

Got a couple-few 'disagreements' myself:
1. The new 'landing' animation from pushing Page Down when you are flying is icky. I'm sorry, but ew. 2. As long as we're on animations, I dun like the 'new' (former release) jump animation. The old one was better -- sure it wasn't entirely realistic, but it was cool to think like a bird pushing off the ground. Frankly I'm not fond of looking like I'm doing a Toyota commercial when I jump.
3. While it's been rumored that this is only temporary, I'd need an actual Linden confirmation to believe it... the report bugs going to the webpage? Huh uh. First, if I'm on TeamSpeak I have to restart EVERYTHING because it makes TeamSpeak go all stuttery when I leave windowed mode of SL. So I only do that when I absolutely must. Being forced to pull up a browser makes me very unhappy. Plus, searching the Knowledge base for something I know is unique to this recent release? Heh, yeah right. This discourages me from the report, rather than the simple, effective way it was handled before.
I still love the game, and these are really just nitpicks, but I can't be the only one out of 7000+ people that feels this way about these these three points.
Please, keep up the good work -- and take out the not-so-good? ^.~
Thanks!

I did, but the new animation thing blended the walking animation and the "sit_ground" animation that I was using together, still creating the waking while riding elevator effect. You can stop the animations you don't want, but you have to do it explicitly. You can do this by guessing what animations an avatar would be doing at that time and place, or looping on an llGetAnimation. /13/72/3209/1.html
