I'd really like to see this...
Booths which are owned by a Group -- especially for the Themed Communities (so they're not just littered up with individual booths)
Say a Group Booth receives 10 votes one day -- each member of the group would receive 10 votes.

<cough> /13/3c/1148/1.html<cough> I think it is a nice idea in principle but I also think it could be easy to abuse.

anything can be abused.
take the current booths -- what's to stop me from putting two of them side by side at the gingerbread house?
ok, yeah, I know that's against the rules, and I agree with the rules, so I won't do it. but there isn't anything to Really Stop Me from doing it.
maybe the group booths could be scripted so that they had to be activated by a Linden.
and perhaps they should sense other voting booths, and turn themselves off if they sense another booth owned by the same group within a [some integer] distance. (I think the normal booths should do this as well)
I just think it'd look so much nicer to have one booth as opposed to 5 or more.
=)

I still think it's a good idea I just don't know how to make it work.

I think it's a terrific idea so we don't end up with ugly voting box farms plunked in from of all the team builds.
But group boxes could be abused in more and worse ways than the individual vote boxes. For example, even if Linden activated it, I could tell them that 20 of my friends had worked on it when they hadn't. They would have no way of proving or disproving it. So they would end up paying 20 people who hadn't lifted a finger. Then in return each of those 20 people could 'register' the same 20 on other vote boxes. And there goes the global pool.
But I wish there was a way to make it work.
Thanks - Kerstin

Perhaps there could be two types of group voting booths. Regular ones can only have a group of two or three people. Any project that has more people than that, like that Wild West Town, has to be Linden approved before hand to get a large group voting booth.
Not a final solution I'm sure, but it's a start.
