Other than the first one, These are all forum related. Do you support in world banning for forum misdeeds? _____________________

If you can't pay attention to rules here on these forums which are part of the SL community then I don't trust you to follow rules in-world. ETA:: The 'other such things' was meant to auto-include similar in-world things, such as harassment and such _____________________

One man's trolling is another man's fun. Same could be said in-world of griefing, and yet that's punished, yes? _____________________

I think he asked a relatively fair question, and although it is grounded in opinion, it could be the basis for a jira if properly fleshed out.
Of all the threads to attack Chaos for, I don't think this is one of them... although Lindal is right, it probably belongs elsewhere. _____________________

Although this prob. belongs in feature requests, my answer is not really something that's really useful as a feature request. It's more of a 'what would you like to see in SL3.0 in 2011' kind of thing.
Although i sadly have the feeling, most active people on the forums spend about 1 hour a month in world and the rest on the forums. So i guess it's not much use answering nowadays. Gfx / 3d: - normalmaps, occlusion maps, specularity maps etc. - self shadowing, unlimited lightsources - Selectable shader support + shader upload options (see maps) - 3d particle engine (icw physics) - Speedtree + uploadable fractal schemes for new trees - multi texture layers for avies/clothing Physics / Prims: - full havok4 support: - no discrete physics engine - >32 prim physical objects + (better) support to combine flex + physics - better vehicle support (multi axial vehicles) - megaprims support 'out of the box' - no. roundingerrors, higher db resolution, no conversion errors on asset server/db store/linking Animation: - Puppeteering, multi av aligning - Multiple skeleton models Scripting: - In world persistent quick data storage - break 16k heapspace barrier (mono) - script speedups (finally have mono CLR VM running, initially optionally switchable between LSL scheduler and mono CLR VM) - better debugging tools (i mean, ANY debugging tools) - llGetLinkParameters etc. (cleanup / fill in the blanks in LSL) UI - multi document/multi window interface - native os look & feel - batch operations on inventory objects (perms etc.) - session persistent IM windows (IMs not gone after a crash...) - highly detailed object inspector + batch operation on object + link content - better search/option to right click avie names anywhere (including chat) and get profile/other avie specific options. - client API support to plug in external tools. (Scripting editors etc.) Sims: - Even better performance analysis tools, drill down to object/script level - Continuous performance monitoring of selected objects in sim - Allowing unlock of objects you have granted permissions on + delete. (atm. it blocks helping people a LOT) _____________________

Luckily, earning your trust is not necessary for the rest of us. In world banning should be applied for in world behavior only. Totally agreed. Welcome back Brenda! (I know it's belated, sorry! ![]() _____________________

Trees that stay the same size, shape, and color independent of your distance from them.
Integration between the SL world and the inworld mozilla browser and the internet in general - to the degree that we can do stuff like send pictures that are in our inventory directly to image sites like photobucket or flickr, use web based chat clients to conduct group IM sessions in the mozilla browser, etc. A case or switch statement for LSL, and the ability to select our own text editor. Ability to select font size and color for each interface element independently. Ability eliminate any gradients, pastels, and rounded corners from the interface. A group chat system in which you can post a request for help and anyone that wants to help can click on that request and join a reply IM session that includes the help requester and anyone else that clicked to join the reply IM session. Built in language translation, plus multi-lingual inventory names and descriptions. Additional name and description fields for objects, etc. that are solely for humans to read and are not indexed by a search system. Continuous movement mode - start walking, keep walking, with ability to steer, but no need to press a key to keep moving. Built in adjustable flying, walking, and running rate. Built in adjustable jump height. Right click on object, select Jump Here. Avatar barrel rolls and loop-de-loop ability, built in. Ability to use Wacom tablet to edit objects with, using the tilt and bearing to control object parameters. Ability to use an additional mouse to control additional things all at once. Thinner default edit selection highlight lines. _____________________

Offsets for hollows in prims.
No prim drift. Genuine megaprims of at least 20m. _____________________

Skirts that do stretch correctly and that don't make my butt look huge.

Graphics:
Proper shadows and light that doesn't pass through objects which are meant to be opaque. Avatars: Improved joint realism at extreme articulations Better jacket template that allows loose fitting coats, jackets or dresses Better skirt template to reduce poofiness without resorting to avatar adjustment. Better default walk and run animations Building: Holes stretchable and movable within a prim. Ability to re-align XYZ axes of objects to make it easier to modify or add to structures that are not placed at right angles on the ground. 20m x 20m x 20m maximum prim size - to save prim count. In-world sculpt tools. In-world 'spray painting' tools Land: The inbuilt LL land / cash transaction system to include a rental facility. |

Skirts that do stretch correctly and that don't make my butt look huge. I keep all my main outfits in folders, complete with shapes. I have a normal shape and one for skirts and dresses with flatter butt and narrower hips. These restore my overall shape in a skirt or dress to what it should be. This method works well except with very short skirts. Whenever I change, the appropriate shape loads automatically. |

A lot of the things already listed, plus Windlight that gives us pretty skies and water without making our avs look like roadkill.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |
