I'm mourning the recent loss of age 33.

I'm 34.

Unless we're speaking in dog years - which in that case I'm almost 5. :D

I swear there are more people born on dec 27th than any other day.

I wonder why that is? counting back approximately 9 months constitutes what shut in holiday that inspires people to bump like bunnies and produce progeny?

Must be all of those St. Patties Day parties!

Either that or perhaps it is simply the concentration of National Pigs Day (March 1), Girl Scout Day (March 12) and National Quilting Day (March 19) in one month. :)

I turned 41 earlier this month.

A while back someone mentioned something about 40 being the downhill turning point, I'd like to disagree, at least from a stance of personal experience.

At 25, I found I could no longer pull an all-nighter w/out apparent consequence. :(

At 30, I found staying up to 6am not as much fun as before, I also started getting hangovers, and trust me I'd been indulging plenty beforehand.

At 35, 3am was enough partying for most nights.

At 39, I freaked about turning 40.

At 40, I got, er, hornier than before, as if that was possible!

This year, got more of what I got last year.

Did someone attach an "orb" to me when I wasn't looking? :p

Most importantly, I don't think of myself as a 40-odd year old, I'm just me, kinda been that way since 17 or 18 I think.

The only thing that makes me aware of my age is trivial stuff. Folks that weren't born when xyz happened, or stuff I missed for the same reason.

Yes, more white hair, but it's finally resolving into neat streaks at my forehead, like my mom's, which looks pretty good to me.

Time served on planet Earth or LindenWorld just gives one more ways (hopefully) to manage what gets thrown your way with more (hopefully again) grace.

Oh and more ways to "get into trouble". :D

Now, think about Willow Z in 15 years and you're getting an idea of what kinda fun I mean! :p
