Don't underestimate how quickly computers are spreading.


I know that a hell of a lot of Filipinos are into the Internet as well as Singaporeans (naturally). And the Japanese of course. Koreans are moving in as well.

I dunno about Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and other countries though.

Well as one of the few people living in a "third world country" ... don't assume that the vast majority of the world not owning a computer will last for long.

Belize, where I live, is both poor and internet crazy. A lot of people own computers, some for business, many for email and games. Now the quality of that computer.. or the reliability of the infrastructure needed to connect... those are real issues....Don't underestimate how quickly computers are spreading.

Yeah, in fact, with wireless meshes growing rapidly everywhere except the various "evil empires", the third world will end up with better internet than the first world, at some point.
